Chronicles of Narnia

Anyone seen this yet? I took my son to see it yesterday. I liked it even more than LOTR. It's definitely one to see on the big screen.

pretty good flick,,,they did good casting as the kids look like they really could be brothers and sisters.

Even though this is more evidence that Hollywood is hurting for new ideas I am still anxious to see this. I am a fan of C.S. Lewis. I have read the book, watched the old cartoon movie and the british TV series. Glad to hear you guys liked it.

I'm leaving to go see it in a few minutes... I loved the books and I have some theology CDs of C.S. Lewis too. Very intelligent guy with a lot of interesting things to say about religion.

Great movie, saw it yesterday with my daughters and I enjoyed it as much as they did.

This was actually my favorite book when I was younger. I even had the video around somewhere, think it was the same british TV series in one movie or something. Gonna check it out next week though, I have been a little busy lately. Good to know the movie isn't crappy though

I liked it but not as much as I thought I would. I think maybe I didn't connect with the characters enough. I don't know if it's because of the actors or the direction of the film but it did seem to lack "something". I do recommend it but if you wait till it comes out on DVD, I think you'll have the same experience.

I really liked it, i liked it as much as the BBC tv series. I don't think they over done it with loads of special effects either and concentrated more on the acting. Good film.

I think that's why I liked it so much. The special effects did not overpower this movie at all. In fact, they were very restrained considering what they could have done. The acting was great, especially Tilda Swinton as the White Witch.
