Sorry to everyone who likes my sauce, my habanero crop kinda fizzled this year (weather) [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] so I haven't made up a batch in a while. But the good news is, I've found some sauce you just gotta try! Huyfong is a company in California that specializes in asian sauces, and their "Sriracha" sauce is absolutely to die for. You may have tried it in an asian restaraunt, but if not you'd better get some and give it a shot. Don't think of Asian food only, this stuff is great in mexican dishes or about a zillion other foods. If you can't get it locally you can order a sampler pack direct at GOOD FUKKIN STUFF

It must be pretty well distributed, I bought some back in summer, at Walmart, and down in this neck of the woods you don't find anthing thats not fairly common.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed there will be no JCF hotsauce blend this year. But if this other stuff is as good as you say it is, then I'm going to have to give it a try.

Yes, the Sriracha is well distributed, but most people I talk to (including myself!) haven't tried it. The stuff just plain rocks! It's not super duper hot or anything, but their blend of chilis just plain works for me.

OK, for those who want more of my sauce tell ya what I'll do.....email me your name and addy again and after the holiday BS is over I'll work on a new batch. I'll have to use store bought habaneros ( [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ) but I'll make it happen for ya. I think I even still have those JCF labels saved!

Bummer. One of my favorite sayings is "Just put a little hot sauce on it and it will be fine". There are only three things in life that I haven't eaten with hot sauce on them. Chocolate is one of them.

Huy Fong, hahaha, I just had some of that shit the other day! It's cheap too. You also see it on like, every single cooking show, someone has a bottle of it.

We call it Hi Fung has a joke, or the red rooster. Nothing is better than making your friend who is eating hot sauce, shoot it out their nose.

I always have gas though...that pisses me off. In Judo or something, I'm always farting...it's embarassing.

Mark the JCF sauce was great! I like sriracha too. I always have a bottle on hand. Count me in if you make another JCF batch. I used to make JCF Chicken last time [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ...now if I can just find the recipe...

right on bro, that shit rocks. I use it in hot and sour soup all the time.

actually, the secret to Sriracha is the garlic. it's massively infused with garlic, and that makes it great.
