but I just remebered that part of the trilogy being cool!
anyone remember a outer limits episode called the Zanti Misfits..those little alien ants with human like faces...that freaked me out!!
Arrrrgh, The wife just called ..the vid store is all out of Emily Rose..CRAP!
Oh that Italian 1965 movie Black Sabbath was COOL as shit..the first part..there is three stories in that as well..I just like the first story where that rich lady dies and the woman steals her ring...she's just lying in bed decaying..and they leave her there...so she comes back for the mood ring..WTF??!! "Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

the original The Thing was a cool flick, but the scariest film i have seen was this blair witch type film(predated that film)alien abduction film that looked so real with an american family being targeted by some pretty real looking Greys.I think it was called the macpherson files, well worth a look for that 1st person being there with them feeling

Holy shit dude, I remember seeing that on UPN one night as a kid. Man did that fuck me up. That was terrifying. I gotta find that again.
But other than that, excorcist hands down, and I've seen every horror movie ever made.
That movie fucked with my head, I walked around like a zombie for a week after seeing that flick.
Just read one of the trivia facts from imdb:

#
# The film caused some scandal in Italy at the time, and had trouble with the censorship board. There was a rumor that the performers had really been slain, so director Ruggero Deodato had to take the actors with him to the set of an Italian TV show in order to prove that they hadn't been eaten alive.
[/ QUOTE ]
Before I read all about the movie on the internet, I was never able to come clean with myself and admit to myself that the actors were still alive, I had a seriously horrible doubt: were they still alive or killed? This movie screws you, badly.
I saw the special director's cut too, in which they actually sacrificed countless of real living animals and had the actors rub their faces in the remains, sick sick shit.
I've, since then, watched any movie that was marked as 'related' on imdb, and I'm turning into Manson II, gradually, but surely.
GOR..did you ever see Begotten ..now THAT is some TWISTED sick shit!!!
it's hardly watchable...very disturbing.
I know "real" sick shit...when I say Begotten is sick...it's sick!
There is a Japanese movie that sup[ussed to be even SICKER...I forgot the name!!!!
I saw Cannibal Holocaust and it was very cool from what I recollect..that is a Fulci movie ..yes?
Luciano Fulci Movies are cool as shit too!

Apocalypse Now, though not exactly a horror movie, is the most disturbing movie I have ever seen. The story behind the movie is sickening as well!!
Cannibal Holocaust is NOT a Fulci film, it was directed by another Italian, I can't find the movie anywhere(I am rearranging my house).
The Excorsist was pretty cool when I saw it as a kid, but not being raised Christian it didn't scare me.
I Spit On Your Grave has a 40 minute rape scene, that's pretty unnerving.
I have never seen a movie with as much genital torture and rape as SS Hellcamp though.
The Nekromantik movies are pretty disturbing, nothing like having your old lady leave you for a rotting body!!
I can't think of a movie as bleak as Day of the Dead, with what may well be the only survivors on earth trapped in a mine.
I Drink Your Blood is bad ass!! Nothing like acid eating satanic murderous hippies with rabies!!
Hellraiser 2 has some cool gore in it with skinless people and the last half is set in Hell!!
The Necrophagia DVD is pretty gruesome, if you like watching fat guys cut dead girls tits off and jerk off on their heads.
Speaking of tits, Cannibal Ferox has a neat-o scene where a girl is left hanging by her tits until she dies.
Fulci's Zombie is a freakin' classic as well.
As you can probably tell, I am quite a horror buff, but nowhere near like my drummer Alex. He has hundreds of horror movies in his collection(I have around 75) and he works professionally as a special effects makeup artist doing gore for movies. He also has tattoos all over his leg from horror movies.

The excorcist is a cool film but if you dont believe in devils and gods its not scary.Has some sinister moments in it for sure.
Emily rose-what a fucking let down!the trailers for this movie show ALL the best bits, after those small bits there is nothing left
The new exorcist movie wasnt to bad when it reached its climax.
How about the orignal Alien movie?that had some tense moments in it
And as a kid the original Salems lot realy freaked me out-i didnt like floating vampire kids..lol
Justin, if you liked Salem's Lot you should read the novel it was based on; it's an early Stephen King work, very well-written and scared the poo outta me when it first came out. I remember staying up all night reading it because I didn't want to turn the lights out to go to bed! Ha ha
