Re: Interesting and perhaps a good read for some.

The founding fathers gave us these civil liberties so that when the goverment is no longer a representative of the people and a burden on us we can exercise our right to over throw it.

Its written in the constitution. I am all for guns and am real right wing but I never believe in giving up civil liberties.

The point is you have nothing to hide now, but you may in the future you never know.

As long as they don't bother me for going to the strip club or bar, they can listen in and monitor my car all they want. They might be entertained Yah, it sucks, but when they catch those jackoffs planning the next attack because of this we'll all be relieved and glad they did it. But ya gotta know they're gonna use this when it's convenient to them. Say ya don't want a certain person to run against you in office, dig up an old recorded conversation with your opposer calling a hooker at 3am...Yup...this is what it's gonna come to. And you know we all did that once or twice or weekly at one point or another...stop lying to yourself

I call 'em like I see 'em, and it really is the same kind of stupidity repeating itself. Nice to see that you couldn't come up with anything more intelligent to say than resorting to slinging personal insults. Let me explain the relationship between the two for you: NEITHER IS EFFECTIVE. Both waste money to only worsen the situation. Do you honestly think the war in Iraq has made America a safre place? I hope not, since it has only hardened the resolve or terrorists, while recruiting more to their ranks as we prove them right with American imperialism. Hey, but those who don't know history are doomed to repeat, right?

Are you defending the right of akmah bomoaksah to walk amongst us freely and plan attacks on americans?

[/ QUOTE ]

No...but I also don't support jailing of American citizens on without due process, lowering ourselves to the level of our enemies by employing torture, lying to the American people to get into a war in Iraq to make money for the VP's bank accounts, or any number of other attrocities committed by this regime in the name of this valted "War on Terror". Maybe some AMERICAN CITIZENS could have gotten better help in New Orleans if we weren't busy sending the NATIONAL GUARD (you know, the ones that are supposed help out here at home?) fighting an enemy that cannot be linked to the people responsible for the 9/11 bombings.

*sigh* I'm really tired of seeing this flimsy arguement tossed around. If you'd read my entire post, you'd see that I said an attack on one's civil liberties is an attack on all of our civil liberties. I do not support anything that attacks the freedoms our founding father's granted us in the Constitution. Personal privacy is something that the government is stomping all over with the Patriot Act, detaining people without even charging them with a crime or following due process, tapping into phone calls without court orders, etc. Big brother is definately watching, and I have a big problem with that. Why do I not wanting them tapping my calls? Because it's none of their fucking business, that's why.

Speaking of liberals, when President Clinton bombed Bin Laden's terrorist training camps, Republicans denounced him for a baseless attack used to take the spot light off the Lewinski scandal. Now, they throw that same name around like a god cheat code in a video game. Do I really need to go into the VP's secret meetings with energy company executives to form policy, all kept closed in the name of Executive Privlege? Why don't you question your government more? Why aren't you concerned with what they're trying to hide from us.

I bet you think Vietnam was a good idea, too.

Oh, where to begin?

Last to first, Vietnam was a mistake only because the politics that prevented The U.S. from doing the war properly. When you make war policy based on liberals protests back home, you are doomed to fail.

Clinton did what he did for "blowing it" with Lewinski, keep your fucnking pants on or be descrete. He was no Jack Kennedy Sir. He also had a chance to have Bin laddin handed to us, and passed because Terrorism was a "police" issue to him, not a national security threat.Hind sight is great, and you'll be glad Bush has done what he has to protect you and your family, trust me.If Clinton had taken care of business in 1993, this would be a whole different ball game.Nice of you to forget that note.

Civil liberties..Name the americans that are being held without reason, name the americans being illegally wire tapped, name the americans, get it.The fuckheads in Cuba are terrorist with NO american rights.Caught on the fild of battle. Torture, Sir, that myth was disproven months ago.Nice talking points memo though.

New ORleans-Well ,the Democtatic Gov and Mayor DECLINED federal help before the disaster hit, declined help from Amtrack to get those out without cars and waited til it was way too late to force evacuation. Those in charge of the state are democrats.Local gov didnt do shit to prepare for this disaster and declined outside help until it was too late for most of the victims.

War on drugs, well, i dont see the correlation other then you would have to be on drugs to see them as the same.

Im sure the people who died on 9-11 would love that you are comparing their deaths to eggs in a frying pan commercials.Whatever.Americans living like americans fuel thier hatred.Women taking thier clothes off, women voting, shit, womens rights at all are forbidden there.Punishable by death for gods sake. They hate the western world for not living miserable lives like themselves in the name of allah.

You know, its your opinion, god bless ya for it.I wont change your mind and you wont change mine.Good day sir and thanks for explaining your thoughts.

Iraq didnt hate the western world Bad seed,in fact women where allowed an education and where treated respectfully.I even recall drink being allowed as where night clubs.music,films.ect.ect.not perfect by our western ways but not as you might sugest it was.
Now afganistan was a diferent kettle of fish with a very religious leadership.Dont confuse the two
If the middle east didnt have oil we wouldnt fucking bother them mate-and they wouldnt bother us
The whole problem of the middle east is the palastine/israel issue and the Saudi royal familys rape of their countries wealth. For too long the saudi's have been paying America to be her bodygaurd, and now us brits have been given a huge military order that involves training them up to standards too as well as supplying hardware.(IRAQ is a great promotional tool for our boys toys brigade-our tanks out there are fucking practicaly indestructable unlike our allies who have weak spots when targeted with RPG's)So our military manufactures have being having a field day
war is good for buisness

I see some of your points Justin, but Iraq was far from a safe place for those people living there.Just ask the millions families of those Sadamm murdered.

Oil-well if the damn pussies in congress would stop worrying about the carribou in Alaska, we could be drilling for our oil needs and greatly reduce our need for anyone in the middle east.

I am sure the US and Britian will always back the israeli's.

Remember, Iraqi's are holding elections and getting a government to reflect what they want.Something they havent had in more then 3 decades.Im proud of what the allies have done for those people. It would not have happened if we let terrorists get away with thier acts against humanity.
