Sweet
Too bad no one at that time understood how to film a guitar-based band - they did a nice job of showing me what strings he was picking, but not the frets he was on I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Re: MSG-into the arena
holy shit he just lights it up every time. this was from like around 1983 or so, that's Andy Nye on keys.
I learned a thing or two about how to play that better just from watching.the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Re: MSG-into the arena
Fucking Chris Glen just kills on bass! That was from the Budokon concert. I am listening to the disc no on my stereo! If you like that version, get the one he redid on Written in the Sand. That one is super tight.

Re: MSG-into the arena
The lead stuff is standard blues pentatonic.
Not hard to learn just alittle fast in some places.
Its alot of fun to play.
Actually, "Cry For The Nation" imo is one of my favorites of his. Great solo and decent rhythmn work. Nice tune indeed.Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Re: MSG-into the arena
Schenker just always rocks that shit. You guys have that DVD World Wide Live 2004? That's a good show though I'm not too into that singer.I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine. - Ayn Rand
