I dont follow soccer much, but I did really enjoy sitting with a Portuguese friend watching Portugal play the US in the last World Cup. It was funny, but also quite sad to see the look on his face when the game was over............

in this small town these guys are in about the only thing we have as far as pro sports goes..United Soccer Leagues Second Division.
my son and i walkthree blocks to the stadium for games ...pretty good time [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

They don't play "soccer" in the UK or anywhere else in the world but the US. It's "Football". As in "NO HANDS". Speaking of "cricket", I actually watched it on TV after spending years listening to the BBC comments on the wireless. What a strange game. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] Is the point of the hitter to prevent the pitcher from knocking down the wicket? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I'm a big Tottenham Hotspur fan ever since Gary Lineker captained the team in the 90's. I think that the EPL is the best professional football league in the world. Go SPURS!!!

I am a fan of the second club as well....all except for...
