Maybe he didn't feel like he much choice. Maybe he thought some of us cared more about him than "we" apparently do! Just because some of us got burned before, we can't open our hearts to another JCFer? No, I don't want to get burned but, I made the choice to help out. Just cause he posted the question doesn't mean anyone is forced to help. If you don't want to help then don't, but why not let those of us that do? So what if he was the one who asked? Who cares? How the hell could we help if we don't know? If someone wants or feels they need to ask for help then they should be allowed to do so! You don't have to help if you don't want to!

God forbid a fiasco breaks out here! We all know that's more important than helping out a bro! What the hell happened to Christmas spirit? Just because you wouldn't ask, doesn't mean it's wrong to do so!

To be blunt, this is a guitar forum. It is also a fine group of people. And, yes, some of us stepped up to help a fellow member or two. Including me. That was "Major Disaster" help. The personal "disasters" that happens to all of us is "just life". I think the Admins did the right thing. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

sorry, but I gotta agree with fett and justin (and those on this side). We all have problems and I've only seen people in the past helping in disasters such as hurricane's and such. For those just down on luck, it happens to all of us but not neccesarily an event that should require panhandling on a guitar forum.

It's an easy attitude to have when you aren't on the end of having to clean up the mess that follows. Instead all you have to do is send your money and that's it.

We lost 2 members of the board on the last one and had several people im'in me telling me they felt ripped off... but I guess you know better than we do...

If they feel ripped off, it is their own fault. It's not YOUR fault they feel ripped off KM. Someone that writes you and says that is a dumbass. "Oh, I gave someone on the net some money and I feel ripped off". Look, if you make the decision to give someone some money, "you" have made that decision. To write a mod and say "I feel ripped off" is a dumbass thing to do.

You're gonna feel upset about a dumbass feeling ripped off KM? That's pretty funny. We're all big boys here and can make the decision to do what we want with our money. If we do something we feel bad about later, it certainly isn't KM's fault.

In the past, when one member posted a "help a brother" thread, about ANOTHER member, I participated whole heartedly.

Something about this last one didn't set right with me. Maybe because he came on and asked for it himself? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] I am not sure. But I didn't donate this time.
