I look at it like this too - fewer members = tighter band, less issues with gigs, rehearsals, everything. I'm in a three piece now, and I love it. Much easier to schedule things, get agreements, etc - I've been in 5 piece bands it was like pulling teeth doing something as simple as booking a gig.

Do what I do when building a band....never put more members in there than you can whip their asses at the same time. This insures everything goes accordingly and eliminates any head butting.

So right now, it is just myself and some crippled up 80 year old midgit. -Lou
