I see a lot of folks from Texas here. I'm from Texas and still have family there.

When I was in college I had an instructor that was a retired marine. He was asking everyone where they were from and when he got to me I said Texas... Of course he jumped all over the chance to ask me if I know what comes from Texas and before he could speak and finish that ridiculous statement I said, "Yeah! Big Texans that don't like being called queer, so choose your next words wisely."

Needless to say that prick didn't like me very much after that.

I'm trying to bump my post count to 5K [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. I have been to Texas though twice and it rocked. Went to the NRA convention in Dallas in 96, and Had a Lay over there in 98 When I went to Florida for Atlanta Braves Spring Training. they have an Awsome Mcdonalds in the Dallas Ft. Worth Airport

I'm originally from Kalifornia then I moved to Florida and I'm here in TexASS for about 8 years now and enjoying it. Nice place to live. I'm in Richmond btw which is about 20 min from downtown Houston

Been here my whole life. Some parts of the state are great and some suck, just like any other state. I love Texas because you can drive for ten hours and still be in the state, I also hate it for this reason.

I was born in Texas and grew up in Houston and Austin. I brought my wife down to Austin for a few years, and even though she's an east-coaster, she fell in love with the place. She still hasn't forgiven me for moving her out west....
