I always loved the color blue. It's sweet! My brother had an old 69 Fastback in blue...same kind vibe. Now to start saving for the 2009 Challenger!
Yeah 4.6L...The GT premium package is great! Shaker 500 Sound system with 6CD changer and MP3 playability, 300HP, 3 valve heads, leather interior, Pirelli tires with Bullitt Rims, "My Color" dash. It moves quick and handles well. I will bolt on some extra HP with aftermarket Steeda parts. The dealership I got it through are associated with Steeda. They should have made this car with at least 350HP. But, then where would the aftermarket parts companies be?

I love these new 'stangs. If I didnt have kids, there'd be a GT my garage.
Congrats.
[/ QUOTE ] It took me 2 years to talk the wife into it. (I have 4 kids). She drives it whenever I put the keys down! She loves it so much she said, when my oldest son goes to College in 2 years, she'll take this car and I'll get the Challenger. God I love this woman!!!
Have you researched after market parts with this engine control system on the new ones?
This fly by wire setup seems to have limited a lot of the bolt ons even on the 4.6s. The computer systems are truly an issue I believe. Something to do with the multi redundancy safeties from electronic throttle control? Haven't read much about them other than hearing it is involved.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah...the Computer will have to be reflashed for optimum performance. Steeda has a $399.99 Computer flash recommended for their Cold air intake, under pulley and Exhaust. They claim at least 30HP Boost after reflash. HotRod magazine did a bolton project with a 4.6L with Elderbrock Fuel injection system, Aluminum heads, moderate cam upgrade and headers. It got 400+ HP out of it.
