Dude, That's BS. Your friend is pulling your leg. St Catharines is no more violent than Burlington, and probably less violent than Hamilton. I've lived in Burlington, Hamilton, Niagara Falls, and Welland, and there's really no difference. Niagara Falls is getting worse because it's right at the border. You want real violence, head to Mississauga or Brampton.
