    Cookie moster is like grindcore crap etc. You know I hate cookie monster stuff, but love Max. He rules. Except the Tribal stuff is way outta my interest range.

      I do have the first three sepluturas and the ep with Orgamatron on it..that's cool stuff.. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

      but there is three death metal singer I just can't take too seriously..Max is one, Chris Barnes of Six feet Under and John Tardy of Obituary..oh boyeeee...yeesh...I have old obituary.."cause of death ruled"..James Murphy on that one!

      I LOVE one Brazillain Pantera-like band called OVERDOSE..I have three of their albulms..they do a little "tribal" thing here and there but their geetar plays really rips..big time! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

          I can't, he just sings from the belly too much in monotone...I prefer throaty death vox..like some black metal and gothenburg death thrash stuff.."throaty" like Chuck Schuldiner and At The Gates..and I like Dani Filth..some of his schreeches get old..but he mixes it up alot..

          Oh we had alot of the same roots really...VH , Randy , Oliva , I liked Dokken , Ratt , Rough Cutt , Sabbath , Qeensryche , Scorps..you did get me into King Diamond / Mercyful Fate..i couldn't get past his voice...so that was a breakthru ..Um...and Slayer..I wasn't a big fan of Slayer at one time..           I liked all the shrapnel shred dudes..with big poofy hair. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

          I didn't like alot of death metal then..Coroner got me in that direction. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

            Max is like Pavarotti compared to Dani Filth.

            I listened to Sepultura when I was 15, don't care about them at all anymore but I dig that tribal stuff that Max has done, tribal is pretty cool, not usual 4/4 beat silly powerchord metal.

              I guess it's the tribal thing then...I'm sure that's it..

              it makes me want to dance like Ace Ventra did in "When Nature Calls"...and I see brown, pot bellied, pygmy girl trolls with flap jack titties...that's what I think of when I hear "tribal"..National Geographic..

              I don't think that when I listen to Cradle of Filth..I think of demonic succubuses with big bubble buts and boobies..with pitchforks and horns..I like that "visual" better than Pygmy's with flap jack tittays..                 It's funny, you guys like more European music (straight beat metal, power chords, fast palm muting, all that dark shit etc.)

                I've always liked American (blues, jazz, funk, soul based stuff, groovy rhythms, latin melodies etc.) and Eastern music.
