Had a discussion at work about who was/is better The Beatles or The Rolling Stones. I never really thought about it before, but man it got passionate. So I figured this is a good as any place to get a read on the subject.

Stones. Better musicians, more rock and roll and still with us...which is amazing.
Beatles were better song writers and better producers.
Very different flavors.

I'm just can't get into the Beatles at all, apart from a few notable songs (daytripper, ticket to ride etc), so I went for the Stones....Popular is not the same as good

The Stones were the bad boys an the Beatles were more teeny bopper in the beginning. I love Beatles tunes, but my hippie brothers turned me into Brian Jones when I was 4 years old. I have the Lips and tongue on my right arm. Big and Bold.Not helping the situation since 1965!Comment
