human nature, media has nothing to do with this.
This is a very old instinct. You can even call it a magnetic field.
When you find a person who is almost perfect for you then you have a really satisfieing feeling being close to her/him.

You can state you don't disrespect women and are a gentleman ...read your signature file ..

BTW please don't think I'm trying to bust your balls I'm simply trying to show that there are instances where realationships aren't such a bad thing

[/ QUOTE ]

well my signature has nothing to do with this subject, it's a completely different case it was more about a woman who was disrespectful to men

Kev, I truly agree that relationship can be wonderful but right now It's not my thing, It's because of my nature, I need to have some alternation all the time, maybe it will go over when I'm older

No, she didn't ask for half my stuff... she just moved out and back in with her parents. I put her through school, she just got lazy and didn't want to work, spent more time with her friends and making new friends at school, wasted my money like it was water, never gave me sex. The last year of our relationship, we barely spoke because everything somehow, according to her, turned into my fault. She worked in retail for the longest time and hated it, wanted to get out, so she went to school for a couple different things, kept dropping out, then she eventually finished the program I helped put her through, then decided she didn't want to do it. After she moved out, she went to school again for something else, graduated but didn't want to work in that field either. Now she's still in retail like she's always been. Loser! I'm happier being single now and not having to deal with bullshit.

Toejam - Yeah, that sucks. Do you still talk at all, or is it a hate relationship now?

No, we don't really talk all that much, I can't be bothered. She only calls when she wants something, like furniture or whatever that she left in the house, but I changed the locks so she can't get in. The house is in both of our names still, but I'll eventually get her name taken off of it. My credit is also screwed up because of her and I had to file bankruptcy. Things will all get straightened out eventually, though. My best friend and her best friend are married, but they live down in Georgia. Whenever they come up, I'll see her and we get along and can be civil, but I don't really like being around her.
