Stevens is from seattle, played for uw and plays for the hawks. Hell ya he's gonna say he's bringing the trophey home to seattle. Stevens is also 6'7 and like 260 I'd like to see porters punk ass try to take him down

Dude as a former athlete (hockey) who played in the highest level of amateur competition any additional motivation gained from trash talking always seemed to elevate my game just little bit more than if an ass wipe kept their mouth shut [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] The game is all mental, some players regardless of skill level can be taken off their game by trash talkin, some are motivated by it...

Why do you think 7 game playoff series are great once hatred for the other team has been established ?

Joey Porter is definitely the type that is motivated by it.

Polamalu is getting the hype as the Steelers' best defender. However, no one has made more big plays than Joey P. in the playoffs.

I have been waiting all my life for the seahawks to get here, but I agree that all this "extra" confidence is doing nothing but waiting for embarassment. Seahawks got here by being humble and unexpected, to start running there mouths now and especially against the steelers is not the smartest thing they have ever done. Any way win or lose atleast we made it to the big show.

I'm guessing your not to familiar with the Steelers then. Porter is gonna flatten him. Size isn't everything, its about momentum thats why you are seeing all these Free Safety's that hit like mack trucks.

There is a difference between getting motivated and getting angry. Now some of the Steelers are angry. Big difference. That gives an additional edge to a team that is already extremely motivated.
