I hope so too.... but I smell a stinker coming on. How good have the last few super bowls been? Pretty darn good, it's time for a blow out.

        Re: The SuperBowl XL Thread

it think it comes down to the seattle QB being able to read / react to the 3-4 defence with the blitz. Sea. OF line is one of the best, so he should be able to react better than the other teams Pitts have played. if that is the case, Sea will move the ball and Pitt will not be in the position to use their blitzs streath that has got them where they are.

Pitts OF is know to win if they have a lead, because they burn the clock like no other with the run. if Sea can get on top early, you can't burn time when behind which forces them to pass. Pitts QB has been on fire during the playoffs, but will it carry into the big game? I can see turnovers by Pitt being in that position.

As they say "You live by the blitzs, you die by the blitzs" which will decide this game. Once again, Seattle will score against them if they can protect the QB.

Also, mistakes will be huge. if Pitts Def. comes in the game with the thought they can out have their way with the Seattle line, they will get frustrated because Sea in not a pushover. Frustration leads to over reactions, which leads to the flags will be drop. Much more pruessure in on Pitts to win this game due to the Bus, and they are Americas team this year.

        Seattle will win.
Score: by 1 or 100, it don't mater. a win is a win.

The Longhorns were the under dog against USC, but we know how that turned out, so throw the stats, records out the window.

                    Seattles-25

At least thats what it would take for me to win 500 on the last quarter of the game. But I don't see a wierd score like that happening.

                    My score pick?
                    Pittsburg-31 Seattle-24

A close game but Seattle can never get back on top of the early lead by Pitt. Pittsburgh runs Bettis alot and he gets 100+ yards. The injured Palomalou goes out in the second quarter but by then Pittsburgh has already secured the lead.
