Re: The SuperBowl XL Thread

I was way off on the Panthers, but the only way the Steelers
lose this game is if they self destruct. What's the current line?

Thanks Cliff.
The only bet I always make on the Superbowl is the over.
Just about every superbowl has gone over. Both teams always seem to turn it up and score no matter how good the defense is.

And that's what's stopping you? it's of no importance my boy. just slip the cats a $20.00 each time you encounter one, and you'll be on the 50 yard line in no time.

I see this as a Real TOUGH PYSICAL game. Troy P. is the best Safty in the league and will be hasseling us all day but that'll leave Shaun Open for 164 Yds Rushing 2 TD's. Joe J will go for 85 yards and 1 TD and to Seal it, Djack for 92 yrds and a TD.

Seahawks-28
Steelers-10

Well your in the right vacinity for Seattle. But 10 points for the Steelers? With near home field advantage, Bus's last game where the entire team wants nothing more than to get him a ring before he retires, and Big Ben playing the way he has been? 10 points is a joke Donnie. Its gonna be 31-24 Steelers. It will be a hell of a game.

How do the Steelers have a near home field advantage? I thought I read that they hadn't played in Detroit for years. I can see saying they play better on the road, but I think Seattle has a lot more experience playing in Detroit. I'm just hoping for a good game and not a one-sided superbowl. I'll be rooting for Seattle, but I won't be to sad if The Bus gets a ring.

Both teams have two weeks to trash the bars and get into all kinds of trouble. Most of those guys will be so hungover, they had better remember which way to run.

Detroit is not far away. Seattle is very far away. Steeler fans travel well anyways, its gonna be alot more Steeler fans. Hence almost home field advantage.

Really. It's one thing to predict victory; quite another to bring Bettis into it. Stevens obviously has no idea how revered Bettis is by his teammates. What a dumbbell.
