Grubby and strung-out-looking. It was about 7 am, just woke up to get that guitar (It was christmas)...hadn't even showered yet.


Just because I had to get all the guitars in.

All but the tape picture were from at least 2 years ago...I've put on about 50 lbs since then (The tape one was just last month.)

And, as I can't compete with the metal guitar god photos, here's at least a metal scene: Macdermott's on Castle Island, Lough Key, Co. Roscommon, Ireland:



It a castle built on a man made Island. The idea being you hauled ass out there when the enemy were coming. It originally dates from around 1000 AD, but the tower is a folly from the 1800s. It's been in ruins since early this century. You can row out to it. It's seriously cool.

As it's tied back most of the time and I've had it so long, I forget I have it. Jo just whipped out the measuring tape: 95cm (just over 3 foot), but it needs a trim. Soon there'll be trouble in the toilet department with it, and nobody wants that. I'm sure I've been at it for longer than you: about 17 years ago I was told I'd not get anywhere in life with long hair; my stubborness is only exceeded by my grumpiness!

I think 50cm is a good length, but as sure as you'll own another RR I bet you won't stop at 70cm. You'll have to find out how long it will grow.

Incidentally, I've seen the video and you're a *much* better guitar player than me. That's what really counts!
