Re: LOST- The TV Show

Not sure what to think of last night's show...

After seeing what Kate found in the locker, I am even more confused than before (if that is even possible)

The locker thing had me thinking...here is my thought for the day...she found a beard, spirit gum, and tattered clothing. Earlier when the pregnant girl was in the nursery a guy came to the door. They only showed him for a second, but put the beard and the old clothes on him and I think he is the pirate that took Walt off the raft. Also, did anyone notice that when Saied (Sp?) was in Iraq with the US Army holding him . The officer looked at a picture of his daughter and I think it was Kate. I love this show...even though it is a bit slow...hey that rhymes...

Re: LOST- The TV Show

I've seen all the episodes and really liked season 1. It does seem like this season's episodes are kinda thrown together at times (like they didn't plan to have this many shows). The thing that is annoying me, and may cost them viewers, is they seem to have 2 or 3 new episodes and then show repeats for a couple weeks. Very annoying!

The beard, theatrical glue, and hat were worn by Zeke on the boat and out in the Jungle when he confronted Jack. He's the same guy that was talking to Ethan Rom at the door to the nursery. Same gruff voice. I think the girl that rescued Claire is Rousseau's daughter.

I heard a rumor that the guy who was captured by Sayid...his story...comes straight from Wizard of Oz. Someone said the events he talked about happened to Dorothy's uncle. He really got to Locke last night. I even said out loud, Locke, don't talk to him!

I'm not Ron, but you hit the nail on the head on a lot of things there.
Last night's episode was pretty good compared to the rest of this season, except for the Psalms episode which was awesome!

Re: LOST- The TV Show

I agree the captured guy really got to Locke. It was interesting to see how his persona changed from scared wimp to mind f**ker. I thought from the beggining he was one of the others...that interaction strenghtens that opinion.

Any thoughts on why the drug dealer/priest guy cut off the tip of his beard when he was talking to the captured other?

And Venomboy, I concur. I still want to know what that damn smoke thing is. And, hey, where da hell is Desmond?

OK question here is this show anything like Twin Peaks? I have heard from a few it is similar in someways. If it is anything like TP I am running out and buying the DVD's today.

It's nowhere near as weird as TP, but there are some weird/spooky elements. I think you'd like it, Tets.

Re: LOST- The TV Show

I think that Henry the Other is the leader of the Others. Don't know why, just a hunch.

There's also that whole Scott/Steve mixup. A lot of the characters mentions one of those names then someone says, no Scott died, it's Steve you're thinking of. Hmmm...something's gotta happen with a Scott or Steve soon.

I have the season 1 DVDs. Cool stuff. The behind the scenes stuff is great. Some of the pilot was put together with shoestring and chewing gum. Maybe 357 Customs is paying for the effects?

Yeah watched the pilot last night... Very pleased. Some over the top acting but that is expected in a primetime drama.

I just picked up season 1 at the store on Sat.
I am on disk 3 already.
It's nice to watch LOST without all the commercials.
I was hooked on Twin peeks, and Dallas, now this.
Come on season 2.

In three weeks my friends and I got all caught up we spent a good portion of two weekends just watching this show and then meeting at my house during the week to catch a couple episodes. The dowloaded versions of Season 2 came out pretty good on my Big screen quite honestly. Last night I watched the new one although I am about three epi's behind.
