Started getting "serious" error messages due to overheating. Opened up the case and here's what I found. Seems one of the two clips that held it in place let go. It was a spring clip with ALOT of pressure. It's no wonder the clip popped off the board with all that tension. Is there an easy way to re-mount the heatsink without re-mounting and using the clips. Maybe an adhesive? Thanks in advance.

Re: Computer heatsink issue
Arctic Silver makes a thremal paste adhesive that should do the trick. The only problem is once you put it on it is permanent. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835100005Mike

+1 Atleast put the old one back on before you run the machine again.
