Just had the same thing happen to me in my wife's van,and wiped out the tail gate...Glad you're ok...If he said he never looked in the rear view mirror,make sure you mention that in any recorded statements you make to the insurance companies... That saved me a lot of hassle...

This happened to my wife last week...
Some 86 year old fucktard blew a red light. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
He tried to avoid hitting a car in the intersection and managed to run into my wife and daughter instead. Both are ok, but the car is not so good.
Besides the obvious, the frame is bent just a touch and the transmission cooler was destroyed.
