In my eyes, I'm out $35 bucks. big fukkin deal. Hell, it was a chance worth taking for $35. If by some crazy chance a guitar shows up on my doorstep next month or next year. it paid off bigger than losing $35. I really don't feel scamed.

It sounds like in two weeks, if stuff hasn't been delivered he is going to go to EMG with the taped conversation he has from Chad telling him that thousands of Epiphones were shipped with defective EMG-HZ pickups (which was a TOTAL LIE!). Catluvr, I did NOT put myself out there to mediate, moderate, whatever you want to call it. They are the ones that pulled me into this.

Why did they do that? Because I caught them in a lie, was and still am able to definitively prove it. I offered to put that info front of the scapegoated company. That really encouraged Daniel to want to talk to me because EMG certainly wanted to talk to him. I did not show my hand and divulge everything after talking to Chad, and I was able to get something done. People trashed me for that.

Now, the president wanted to talk to me, and he gave me info. I can prove everything he said, and IF you paid attention to how I did it the first time, then you know that I can prove what I was told again, definitively. In my discussion with Daniel, we proved that we have been lied to, we know that now period. He took responsibility, took the blame, etc.

What that means to me, is that we now have to find out just how much we've been lied to. And if I divulge everything, I cannot do that. But I suppose there are those of you who find it easier to call me names, or call me a "mouthpiece", the new Chad, etc. Get a grip. If I told you everything, we would not be able to learn the details that we want to know. I have on record what Daniel told me. There is also a core group of guys here who've created some very good questions. I am comparing those questions to what Daniel said, and then I am going to ask those questions directly. Do you now understand?

To those of you who think I'm enjoying this, you're wrong. This is not how I'd like to spend my time. I have a VERY busy work schedule, I have a very busy personal schedule. There is no time for this. But I'm not going to bail on this because I got myself into it with the words that I've written and the conversations that I have had. And I've managed to meet some cool people to team up with. As much as I'd love to never see this thread again, I am not going to do that at this point.

I do not understand some of you, truly. You think that just because I spoke to someone that on the other team now. I would like to think that you'd be happy that we now know for sure that we've been lied to, and we can now ask questions directly to the man that owns the company. And if those questions are not, are refused to be answered, then we have another issue to address. And we now have the proof to do whatever is necessary.

One last thing... By failing to give Daniel a timeframe, we lose credibility in doing our own due diligence. We have to allow him, his; or we have no leg to stand on.

For the person who asked about my "timeframe"... Two weeks. Then I'm done "talking". We as a group will let those who've been blamed for the delays, know, en masse what the deal is. How bad it is making them look as companies, and how bad the artist in question is being made to look.

What did President Dan (LT. Dan) say when you asked him about the thousands of defective Epi's that were shipped from the factory several weeks ago?? Oh yea... you didn't ask him about that.

How about the confirmation that 500 guitars were shipping that Friday around 6 weeks ago. Oh.. it slipped your mind.

Did anybody ever confirm an actual backorder at Epiphone for Zack Wylde guitars?

At this point.. if I was in on this deal, although I hate to admit it, I would wait it out too. Sambencuda is 100% correct. If you already got your gift cert. gear and you are happy with it, it can't hurt to see how this plays out. Epi might come through to 357 Customs just to save face!
