You're right Jim, the only place it mentions the Epiphone is on the description page of the MP4 player. This promotion is for the buzzsaw graphic one only.

Its too bad somebody here doesn't know and inside person at Epiphone to find out what the real deal is.
BTW... what brand are those MP4 players? Buyer beware. There is some real junk out there coming from overseas. I have seen kick ass "looking" digital camcorders that were absolute garbage. Same thing with camera's and MP players.
Here is the chain of events for the typical buyer (dreamer)
1. Sucked into a promotion where they pay for a $100.00 gift certificate in order to get a DieCast Chopper and a real Epiphone Zack Wylde Les Paul.
2. Before most of them spend the gift certificate on something from 357 customs that is actually worth $100.00 they come out with another promotion where you can use the certificate towards the purchase of a garbage no name overseas MP4 player because... yes... its true... you will get another Zack Wylde Signature Les Paul. Most guys will say.. who cares about the MP4 player! I want the Les Paul and it will only cost me $58.00 out of my pocket if I use the certificate.

Here is the logical progression.
357 Customs will post a statement that do to the HIGH DEMAND and INFLUX OF ORDERS.. they are shipping Les Pauls as fast as possible but there is a backorder so you will have to wait until they can fill the orders in the order they were received. My guess is that only a few will ship if any because thats all they have.
They will then give you another chance to spend your money with another promotion. Maybe it will go like this:
"For all of the participants who didn't receive their Epi Les Pauls we will honor your coupons by allowing you to purchase items from our website at reduced prices".
This will allow you to buy all the import garbage electronic items that they are bringing over from Tawain and Korea by the container full.

But.... is it the actual Epiphone Zack Wylde Signature Les Paul that is advertised by Epiphone and endorsed by Zack Wylde? I would ask him for the complete specs on the guitars you guys are supposed to be receiving. My guess is you won't be getting details on the actual guitars.
Epi may have made a special run of promotional Zack Wylde Les Pauls that are not like what you are expecting to get.
I hope I am TOTALLY wrong on this but after being in business and in sales for the last 22 years, a company would have to be ENORMOUS in order to lose that much money for advertising. Is 357custom a Fortune 500 company? Nope. There is no way they can absorb this kind of loss for the sake of advertising.
You guys are in for a big let down but it will make for some really interesting JCF threads.

This has been addressed many, many times. My 3 certificates for guitars for the last deal reads and I quote "Certificate of Redemption for a Epiphone Sawblade Zakk Wylde Signature Model Guitar courtesy of 357 Customs"
As far as I know there is only 1 signature Epiphone Zakk Wylde guitar. Of course there are (3) paint schemes but no other versions. It has also been stated by 357 and Chad that these are the same guitars that sell for $799.00. If you do a search for them that is the guitar you will find. I know it looks crazy but I have a good feeling about this. They have made good on everything they have promised to date and I have no reason not to believe the real guitars will begin shipping in March. I guess we will see then.

JG, I'm right there with you in your thinking, as I think quite the same as you. But, I've done my homework on this one and it is indeed legit.
Did anyone else read that the 357 store is the midst of moving from Florida to Nashville, TN right now?

If this was a repeat of the Bullseye deal I would do it - but honestly even for $158 I just can't get with that graphic and I love ZW.

Anyone stop to consider that this is part of Zakk's deal with Gibson? Didn't he just renew his endorsement? Think about it.. He probably has some kind of return from 357 as well...He was the first major endorsee 357 had,and he might have a personal investment,and this is a great platform for him to capitolize...

Sometimes too good to be true does happen.....

Or maybe the Epi's aren't selling as well and they are trying to reduce inventory...There are a myriad of options here...And I personally can't see Epiphone completely altering the production methods and compromising their hit or miss reputation any more.....

If they are indeed real guitars (which they most likely are...) it will be interesting how they back out of filling all the orders. I hope all the JCF'rs get theirs!
This way I can enjoy my crow sandwich.

I got my $100 GC right before Christams, just got my Sawblade/Buzzsaw diecast about two weeks ago, ordered a bunch of ZW shirts and a mug with the GC, now I'm just waiting on them and the guitar to arrive in March. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

As legit as this sounds unless Epiphone is giving these to 357 for $50 the loss margin would be too great. They ahve to have something worked out or this is a well crafted scam. Logic dictates something is wrong. Bah what good is logic though?
