No, I went in on only the first deal with the diecast and the $100 gift certificate. I got my diecast, then I got my four shirts and coffee mug that I purchased with the GC.

      • Hmm, that's strange. I got the Buzzsaw. Maybe they went out of stock on the Bullseyes quicker and are waiting for more?

        • I didn't get shit. I didn't get my diecast that was supposed to ship in Jan, I didn't get the jacket that I ordered with my gift certificate a month ago and I certainly didn't get my guitar.

From my perspective, It ain't looking too good, but I can hold out a little longer before I go bug shit on Chad.

I was hoping to give this guitar to my son for his birthday in June. I bet it won't be here by then if at all.

We just talked to Epiphone, and Tim Bolin will be taking the truck over to Gibson tomorrow to pick up guitars!

THE FIDDLES WILL RESUME SHIPPING TOMORROW...I don't know how many yet, but I'll do my best to find out.

                • Just out of blind curiousity...is there an Epiphone/Gibson warehouse in 357's neighborhood???

RobRR...I haven't received any diecasts either, but I have received all of my gift and guitar certificates. I did send my gift certificates in a couple of weeks ago. Tim called my house a couple of days later to verify the shirt sizes on my order. Unfortunately I was still at work. The first thing my wife said when I walked in the door was "357 called asking about what size shirts did you want to oder". My response was "FUCK THE SHIRTS, did you ask about when the guitars would ship". Of course her response was "No, I didn't even think about the guitars".

Well, I'm still holding the faith by a very thin thread, but at this point I'm too stubborn and I will wait it out.

357 just moved from Florida to Tennessee. Isn't Gibson located in Tennessee?

                    • Gibby and 357 are in Tennessee now,so they are probably "relatively" close.

I wonder if the tornado will slow things down?

Maybe the tornado is the reason why the pickups don't work. :ROTF:

                              • it sounds as if, if this pickup story is true, that they would just swap them out right here at Gibson as quick and dirty as possible, to get them deliverable to customers.

I kinda don't doubt any of what Chad said really. we assume they do QC in Korea but perhaps not, that just adds to the cost...
