      I'm sorry, but
Pyramid scheme! He's hoping the money from this will help pay for the "free" guitars from prior deals.

Man, I truly hope you guys didn't get ripped. But - more and more every day- this smells like a scam.

      • You have got to be kidding me. Now this custom motorcycle shop is selling overpriced import laptop computers?
This is most definately a pyramid scheme of some sort. I wonder if 357 Customs is run by Amway.

I think they shipped a few guitars, just to make it look good when they actually back out of supplying the rest. They will come up with an excuse, and offer refunds of the original purchase. They will probably also offer the people who got fucked over a "deal" on some piece of shit diecast bike or MP3 player in good faith. That is my prediction. Let's wait and see if I'm psychic, or just psycho. :ROTF: :ROTF:
If they glady refund lets say 3-4000 guitars/orders that won't get shipped out, and they had everyone's money since December, how much money do ya think generated in interest for them? Hate to even think it cause I got my guitar and I had faith in em for everyone else's orders, but this just sounds like a company partnered with Zakk Wylde to sell cheap BS to people in exchange for Zakk related stuff (free sig guitars, concerts, promos for the company with Zakk, a BLS concert)

                  • OK...I may be wrong, (as in my suspicion may be) but I seem to recall something about a "Chad" guy in St Cloud Mn (or it may have been Brainerd that time) being involved in some type of a webscam from some other info I read awhile back.

How do I know this? I honestly do not recall the exact circumstances of how I stumbled across all this but I do recall something I seen and I remember it because the guy was/is local. The postings were by someone who got burned and wanted to expose the guy and his companies as crooked.

I hope I am wrong about this..it just is striking something with me and want to post that my gut feeling is something isn't right.
I wish I could remember the exact cirsumstances of how I came across this when I did..because I seem to think it was last Winter... it may have been something affiliated with eBay or something else....I hate being vague, and I wish I had more solid ground to stand on with my accusation, like links etc.... but I would be really leary of trusting this guy.

If anyone has any info to point me in a direction of researching the validity of this.. I am not to far from StCloud, MN.. I'd be willing to put some hours into this.

Also.. has anyone done any checking into 357's background with the BBB or the chamber of commerce in thier area?
Is there anything on the Black Label site or Zakks site about his concert?

                    • Look everyone. We have gone this far. This WILL work out. Just as some of you have these "gut" feelings on this being a scam, for some reason I have a "gut" feeling this is legit. I dont know why. Maybe because there is still far to much interaction with 357 when if its a scam they should be hiding. Now of course I'll readily admit this isn't the most well organized promotion but they are getting things done. 357 has returned every call I made and been on top of everything I asked. Lets just stay positive shall we!!

                      • Agreed. I am not calling it a scam quite yet. I do think that 357 is stalling for time with the excuses though. In the end, I am hoping it all works out for all you guys that got involved.

I have no idea if this is a ponzi scheme or not. But if it isn't, what is happened so far is exactly what one would expect from a Ponzi scheme.

                              • I think Discovery is missing this one! Screw American Chopper. This one would have been a blast watching from behind the scenes! What do you think the actual bike builders are saying about the comercials and MP4 players?? They do have builders right??
