Yeah, to me that statement is BS. Why would a company do a transistion while processing huge amounts of orders on a deal as complex as coordinating multiple items for shipment as this? Not to mention.. the coupons.. I would say they anticipated quite a bit of response but (I'll give a little benefit of doubt on this) maybe needed the coupons to determine physical counts.
It still seems to good to be true and ya know the saying.
Why issue a formal statement and emphasize in CAPS. I do not buy it, I do not believe it, it smells like taco bell processed through my colon.
I've seen enough phishing scams to make me question this..and the typos on simple words.. "we at 357 would like to apologize for the hurriedly composed announcement that ignored spell check and will be issuing a revised announcement which COMPLETELY excuses the former for any errors of a grammatical or spelling nature plus anything else we may need to be excused for"
They make it sound like it was such a huge success that they are not liable for incompetence?
Has anyone emailed or called Epiphone to find out if any of this rings true? or if a large order of their guitars from Zack's series are going to arrive to 357?
Another clincher for me..no apologies..it wreaks of "its not our fault.. we can't be held liable for everybody else doing thier job poorly." Did they not anticipate the amount of time it would take to ship this stuff? anybody else would.
