      • Well, the hold up is Epi not getting them sent on time. Can't ship what you don't have.....Epi is known for unreasonable delays. It's not a scam guys....its just a PITA at this point. Like I said before, do you really think Zakk would let his name be used for a scam? Trust me, he knows its going on. Nick Cantonese is a member there. Epi told 357 it was a pickup problem....the guys at 357 relayed that info to us. They don't know squat about guitars......so, if Epi would have said " So sorry about delay....duck no fit in hole"...357 probably wouldn't have known any better. I think the pickup story was made up by Epi....not 357.
Of course, its easier for me to be patient as I couldn't even play them even if they got here today.-Lou

Can't sell what you don't have, either. Can't promise to deliver by March, or April, or May, what you don't have and cannot (or won't) get. Can't charge people's credit cards when the orders are placed for goods you don't have and can't (or won't) get.

Hope my JCF bro's (and at least one sis) get their guitars. Don't (and won't) regret my refund either way. I've already found another toy to use that $ on...

            • You guys are right. Even if they never get the guitars, all they have to do is keep stalling and continue to offer a full refund. Eventually, most people will probably either take the refund, or just give up hope. You can't really sue them can you if they offer a refund?

              • What happened to the 500 guitars that he was getting in? I am sure he got confirmation from Epi on such a large shipment. Its a scam and the chargebacks are welcome. Everytime he issues a refund he gets free advertisement.

                • In my book though, it is horrible advertisement, I can`t seeing any of this boosting their product sales. Jack.

While I agree about the deadline, people didnt "buy" guitars. They purchased a diecast chopper and a $100 gift cert. The guitar was just an added bonus... Now granted, I havent recieved my diecast yet, but I dont really care. Im getting a ZW Les Paul for basically nothing, I can wait.

Not how the Feds will look at it if / when seeking mail and wire fraud indictments. The mail fraud statute doesn't give a shit if they call it a 'free guitar with purchase,' if their action(s) otherwise fit the definition.

Not saying they do or don't, I don't have any idea, but the 'hey, the guitar was free' defense isn't going to help one whit if anybody does end up in trouble.
