LIke I said many times in this thread, I have nothing to lose by staying in. I got me gift cert, I have a feeling that I'll get the die cast as well. Thats $135. The guitar is free. No, I wouldn't have bought anything from 357 if it weren't for the free guitar, but who gives a fuck. I got a hooded fleece jacket (my wife likes it) and the die cast. Even if the die cast doesn't materialize, $35 is not going to break the bank. It's still worth it for me to see if this thing still pans out.

On another point, I'm not making any decisions based on a conversation that someone else had with someone else. Why should I believe anything? And i'm not about to waste my time going from forum to forum checking up on this thing. I don't care. I think most people are more dissapointed than anything else. It's not like we paid $800 and arent' getting anything plus, you can always back out.

I knew the risk when I got in on this. I took it full well know that there is a pretty good chance that the guitar would never materialize. I had to make the decision to get in based on that. I did.

I hate myself for checking in on this thread every day, but like a bad car wreck, I keep coming in for a closer look.

I damn near shit myself when Chad emptied the 357 Customs Offer forum. Then I was relieved as could be to see his post. Considering all the e-mails I have received have been coming from [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected], I'll stick by what comes out of those camps until PROVEN otherwise only by e-mail from 357 Customs.

sambencuda, have you e-mailed 357 about your die casts yet? If you haven't I would highly recommend it. My die casts were shipped out two days after I e-mailed them.

I'm in the same boat too! I only read the Black Label boards for information and updates. I can't see any way in hell the "pretenders to the throne from Slick Deals" being the voice of 357 Customs. All I see them doing is trying the "squeaky wheel gets the oil" theory...I really detest that theory.

Just out of curiosity, and, I don't know why I didn't do this sooner but I checked out the Epiphone forum. I mean, it seems like these guys would be all over it. I only found 3 posts that even mentioned it, and it wasn't good:

Anyway, I'm out. I've shipped the diecast back and it will be arriving at 357 tomorrow and I've also filed a chargeback claim with my CC as well. So, I'll post the results as they happen.

I asked for (and received) a refund, and asked where they would like me to send the diecast. The answer I received, via email, from 357 was, "Please return the Diecast to the address below via UPS, as the payment method chose 'freight collect'. "

I paid the shipping to return it to them anyway.

Daniel Baugess, owner and President of 357 Customs, has to be one of the biggest pricks known to business. How the fuck can he say, basically I will not say how many guitars and when they will be ordered. What the fuck is that I think this dude is holding our money as long as he can and making interest and hopes many opt out and he still makes money after finding out he got way in over his head on the Free Guitars deal. I really wonder if this stooge is smart as a Fox now. Jack.

Sambencuda is correct regarding the original deal. If you are happy with the stuff you got the most you will be out is $35.00. That is exactly what Chad and Dan were hoping for.
I also feel its pretty unlikely that Zack didn't know about this. I think he endorsed it and when the deal went sour he took the posture of... DENY DENY DENY.

The bottom line to me is, the MP4`s and Guitars should have been ordered already instead of all of the dancing going on, itr just doesn`t feel right anymore Jack.

Dude, if it's a scam I'm in this for 396 bucks plus the shipping too. Not exactly chump change either. It's not the money I'm worried about as much as it is the wrath of my wife if it doesn't pan out.
