slayer, you're just NOW feeling a vague hunch that something MIGHT be off? You mean you still can't see the obvious? I did the math even before I finished reading the text of the deal when I first saw it. I guess sometimes you have feel the flame to learn not to touch oven burners.

Only one flaw in that theory. You simply cannot accrue that much interest at current rates within a reasonable time frame to fund the orders, even going with highest rates possible with a high risk non-insured bank. By the time you do, inflation will have moved the price of the goods up even higher.
Nah, this is a simple a grab and run job.Just a guitar player...

I'm sorry, I meant/forgot to state that it would be to help pay for, and to minimize the cost of doing the promotion.
To me the time value of money has come into play for whatever reason. I think it was planned like that from the get go. I believe that is why there was an initial wait of three months. That's been my opinion of it the whole time as it's the only thing that makes sense to me.
I know the interest won't pay for it, but it'll sure make it less painful when they have to settle up with Epiphone. I for one do not have a problem with them using the time value of money to their benefit.

Just wait. All they have to do is shut down all communication and that will be that. What's going to happen to them? "3000 people file a class action suit because they paid a little for BS with a guitar included." Yea, and I can sell you.................I am a true ass set to this board.

Let's do some simple math here...shall we?
357 says everyone will get their guitars (even if they bail out). Dealer cost on these is probably around $600. Just to be safe we'll say it's $500. So, $500 x 3000 guitars = $1,500,000.00. Does 357 expect anyone to believe that they are gonna give away $1.5M to protect their "Good Name"?>>--HuntinDoug-->

I'll believe it when I see 3 guitars at my door.
