Yeah, but they took orders for some of these up into February, so I think the plan was to plead delays and promise extras until the chargeback time limit on the newest orders would expire. Then spin a little more BS as they clean out the bank accounts and move on yet again.

Like I said, next time they'll go after another market. Yesterday NASCAR frans, today BLS fans.... what tomorrow? Oh, I'm sure he'll lay low for a year or so until money starts running low. Then he'll creep out again and find an area of society that doesn't know him.

    • The one common thread I can find between BLS and NASCAR is the South and whites, as in Neil Young's Southern Man. Extrapolating from this, the next target would be the gun enthusiast segment. I foresee a high end shotgun being offered for "free" with purchase of a $200 BBQ grill.

      • Well, I'm still sitting tight. I may be a soon to be drowned rat, but I'm staying on the ship as I haven't officially drowned yet. Not that I could do anything else at this point anyway.

Hey fett! I'm sure you'll buy two of those.

They're your standard price if your guitar purchases are an indicator. :ROTF:

                Just kidding...I couldn't resist.

Zakk is from New Jersey and lives in Calofirnia. He is a fake Southerner like John Fogerty.

And "high end"? We were talking about Epi copies, not a "Real" Zakk. Do gunmakers make cheesy copies of their high-end models? Just asking, I'm not a gun expert, even if I AM white and fromthe South.

MY Les Paul, though, is a Gibson, not an Epiphone!

                            lerxstcat,

VitaminG posted the above, and that pic from RobRR is funny as hell.

When I read VitaminG's post, I immediately thought about you typing as fast as you could registering on the Black Label boards and posting it. I of course was assuming you weren't already a member. I was just trying to spread some humor around.

                            • The world makes cheap copies of everything. It started just after WWII in Japan and it keeps going. And why not? Some of the best guitars from those times are some of the best. Knockoffs are not necessarily bad. They just don't have the overhead and the willingness to double the price for a "Name". Is the quality of a knock-off as good as the "Name"? Many times, yes. That is why you can buy a great item for a lot less if you can see and feel what went into it and it feels like the "Real" thing.
