"Due to a computer virus in some of our systems we are taking down the shopping cart until all of the orders are completely fulfilled and that this will not cause any confusion regarding orders or continue to spread the virus."
Translation: "We're packing up and leaving town. See 'ya and wouldn't want to be 'ya." :lol
You really believe him with his past history here? Steve, don't start sh*t in this thread, we don't need any more. Thanks, no go away troll.
Actually I am very skeptical of him because of that history and was using sarcasm to make your same point. It's best that you said it directly though, it's enough of a clusterfuck as it is.
No worries, lerx. I'm pretty much a cool headed guy, but I'm beyond pissed at this point. And, like you said this is enough of a clusterfu*k as it is right now and we don't need people adding crap. Some dude posted over at zw.com that a guy named gwarghoul got his guitar on the j/c forum and would post pictures soon and got all excited. That's what got me pretty upset. And, my bank is trying to deny my chargeback which also totally sucks!
This is Bob Ringe, Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society's manager.
I have been informed that 357 Customs ran a promotion directed toward Zakk's fans, and that 357 has not delivered merchandise ordered during the promotion.
Zakk has not authorized or otherwise been involved with this promotion, and has not received any compensation from it. When I realized, however, that numerous fans were affected by the promotion, I instructed Zakk's attorneys to contact 357. 357 has acknowledged the substantial delay in delivering merchandise ordered during the promotion, and has promised that all merchandise will be delivered.
I do not know when 357 will live up to their promises, but I will continue to have our attorneys monitor this situation and follow up with 357. I will keep the web site updated as new information becomes available.
A special e-mail address has been set up for anyone involved to supply information on this 357 promotion: [email protected]
As more information is obtained , I will visit the forums to update you and try to answer your questions.
The thing that's kind of confusing is that I distinctly remember reading a headline a few months ago either at the 357 site or the BLS board welcoming ZW's manager Bob Ringe aboard as a member of the 357 team, like he had bought in or something. So count me in the "not sure" camp.
I am still in the camp that BLS/Zakk is in no position to deny anything. His official site had banners and links, as did the Epiphone site. ZW had best get this straightened out himself.
This whole thing still stinks, as
A) That email address is an AOL account
B) If my webmaster had gone out using my name to sell/promote product, I would sue him for damages to my name and move my site to another webmaster immediately
C) ZW is still "surprised" by this whole thing? I heard about this at work from a coworker at the same time as I saw it here, there is no way Zakk didn't know - if I not even being a Zakk fan heard about it twice. Oh, and need I remind you about Epiphone promoting ZW/357 on their site?- Zakk and his managment/attorney would have had to know about that too.
Pure BS Zakk - I wouldn't believe anything from Zakk until I got a response from a certified letter to Zakk's attorney if I was in this deal.
