Yeah, Chad runs Zakk's board and put the original ad up, so how did nobody in Zakk's camp not know about it? Chad was the one telling everyone it was totally legit, posted all over HC about it, blah, blah, blah. Didn't he even claim to work at 357 or have some affiliation with them? Zakk should can that chump!

This beauty too. Now, the only reason I even bring this up is because he asserts this as fact, and not just his opinion.

If I hadn't gotten in on this I would be saying this "For anyone that wants to cancel their order I'll contact 357 and see if they can put my name on your order and I'll refund you the $100.00."

Little of both actually...I had no idea this deal would have come to this. Well, I also thought it was too good to be true, but jumped in for the hell of it because of the way it was promoted. Zakk was also making some damn good money off of this. In my opinion I don't beleive for one second that ZW management didn't know about this. I don't think they knew what a clusterfuck it was turning into but they knew the deal was going on.

Here's a few facts you might not know.....

- When people initially contacted Zakks manager(Bob Ringe) months ago about all the problems people were having with this he said don't worry about it and forwarded the emails to Daniel and Chad to be addressed.

- A SD member who had dug up some dirt on Daniels past called Bob Ringe and complained about what was going on. He later got a call on his private cell # from Daniel with a threat about how he's not the only one that can find out things. Daniel admitted getting the # from Bob Ringe and later Bob admitted giving it to him.

- Quite a few people had contacted both Bob Ringe and Zakks wife letting them know about what was going on. They did absolutely nothing until the threats of a boycott emerged. Then all of a sudden they were shocked and were determined to get to the bottom of this and "had no idea".

- And of course Chad Lyer remains as the Official Webmaster of the Official ZW/BLS Website. He also remained as the webmaster of 357 up until just recently.

Strange behavior of people that "had no idea" what was going on.

Nah, sorry. I'd need some hip waders and a shovel to get through all the bullshit online to find the posting where he acknowledged that something was amiss. I don't remember the details, but his tone was conciliatory iirc (not that i'm defending him).

I kinda understand how this all happened. I'm sure we've all had plans to do something at one time or another and it looked great on paper, but didn't turn out the way it should have. This is just that, just on a MUCH bigger scale and lawyers are now involved. I'm sure this all sounded good to the ZW camp, the money seemed good for Zakk, Chad was getting a bike built for him and paid to do the site and all should have worked out, but a shitty business plan screwed it all up and now they've gotta cover their asses. Zakk was suppose to play a show for people who bought those laptops too (ah man, did those people ever get em?) so I'm sure he had to know something about it. What's kinda stupid is that Daniel tried this before and it didn't work, so why he thought it would work this time is beyond me. Now everyone is pissed off and reputations are damaged. When it rains it pours I guess...

Ya know I keep thinking, I must be one lucky mo fo to get a guitar, but I'd honestly give that up for something better to happen financially/job wise for me right now. Especially when I hear about these parents (some of you guys) that bought in to this for their kids, it's sad

I don't believe Daniel ever had any intention of delivering the guitars. Not counting the STFU guitars to keep the money rolling in of course. He never even ordered them.
