I love DT and he's a great singer. the dude's awesome.

but this was still really funny in a just fucking around kinda way. one thing it also shows is that he's coloring his hair, probably going grey.

That wasn't funny at all. It could have been. The idea is there, but it just wasn't funny.

I like DT, but I really don't like his voice.

AF-Awake is arguably their best album, Images and Words and Metropolis Part II. Are great as well. Stay away from Falling Into Infinity.

Nothing wrong with FII, some commercial songs in there but that album has an atmosphere over it, captured on only a few albums, a Pink Floydish kind of atmosphere and that is a rare commodity.

I like FII a lot, too. Just picked up Octavarium yesterday. I'm digging it!

Any of their albums is great, AF.

Also check out Liquid Tension Experiment I & II for John's, Mike's and Rudess's more experimental freeform band (with Tony Levin on chapman stick). It's like DT but a lot more experimenal, whacky and really showcases some great playing.

Images And Words is their best album though, Awake is a VERY close second. Best prog albums in the history of the world, probably.

the best prog albums in the history of the world are "Dark Side of The Moon" "The Wall" "The Lamb Lies Down on The Broadway" "Disclipine" "In The Court of The King Crimson" "Emerson, Lake & Palmer S/T" "Fragile" "Close To The Edge" "2112" "Moving Pictures" "Operation Mindcrime"

No. Only 3 of those could be classified under Prog Metal, to begin with. And Images And Words absolutely DESTROYS those three.
