The entire referee council owe the seahawks an apology. The referee's botch, yet another, important post season game. This game was decided before the kickoff.

Agree 100% and I;m not a seahawks fan. I counted 5 bad calls all going the steelers way and only 1 called back cause of Holgrems challenge. Dam and I thought football was a safe game untouched by Vegas. Guess money talks.

I am super glad the Steelers won, but the game was one of the most boreing games in Super Bowl history. Ben was as about as tight as pants on Super Woman. He had a terrible game. His maturaty level is still one step away, thank God for the rest of the team. Jack.

Bullshit (not directed at you but all the ref whiners). Games are rarely decided by bad plays. They lost by 11 points. Pittsburgh had a pretty shit call go against them to but no one is mentioning that (the clear fumble early in the game). As for the Rothelisberger Touchdown, they have showed it over and over. Its clear the football broke the front plane of the goal line before he hit the ground. Touchdown.

That pass interference call on Seattle that brought the touchdown back was pretty bogus though. As was that stupid call on Hasselback (but that was irrelevant anyways). Though Pittsburgh had one like that too, when Ben got picked down in the red zone and the guy was running back the interception that eventually lead to the score. There was a blatant but uncalled block in the back . He didn't just block the guy, he knocked him about 10 yards forward. So it was a badly called game all around. But the point is, if your complaining about the calls, well you deserved to lose. Its not like a bad call actually cost them the game like the Redskins/Tampa game this year. Thats one of the few times I can think that a game was actually given to another team by the refs.

The Seahawks lost because the Steelers scored more points than them. They missed two field goals and let the Steelers score on a trick play. They also let a running back run for a 75 yard touch down.

Debate the bad calls all you want but all it sounds like is a bunch of whining.

I never would have thought that Seattle would give the Steelers that good of a game. Hats off to the Seahawks. Nothing to be ashamed of at all.

That was a pretty even game, with the Steelers just making more BIG plays.

The refs should have got the mvp for GIVING the game to the steelers. That game was obscene in its blatantly bad calls. Even Madden was surprised. I guess all you guys know more then Madden.I'm mad at the fact that I love football but its not a clean game anymore. Its taking on the basketball approach.
