Re: Anyone like Bulletboys?

don't think I've ever heard their music, although I do remember seeing them in the metal mags back in the day. They had that wanker bassplayer who always had his fly down in every pic.

Mick Sweda was profiled in that "Where Are They Now?" column inside the back cover of Guitar World(?) last year. Didn't have a shaved scone in the current pic in the article though.
Hail yesterday

Marq and I were good friends and used to be Tennis partners. We'd go to Newport Beach and kick some yuppie ass on occaision in doubles. We were gonna make a couple of tunes together as I dig his voice a lot, but it never materialized. I think it would have made a good writing team if we went through with it, but he did find the right girl and he moved back to L.A. and I think he got married.

Tommy, your style would fit really well with his.You should look him up.He is saying BB's are doing a reunion tour, but no-one else from the band wants in.Maybe you could do it instead?

Re: Anyone like Bulletboys?

I didn't really ask but at the bachelor party people were saying "BB's reunion tour" and Mick shook his head.

Like, totally for sure dude!
Mick seems to be doing fine. He plays hockey with a friend of mine.Don't know why he agreed to come to Merced. I know his wife is from here.
We're supposed to jam sometime soon in his home studio, but it's just a jam+beer session
Don't really know too much about him but he seems really cool. I've seen pics with a red Jackson.
I'm kinda nervous now about playing with him, should I be intimidated? I was thinking about learning a BB's song then ripping it out but he'd most likely kick my ass if I did.

Bulletboys kicked ass! I thought Mick had a cool raw tone. "Kissin' Kitty" and "Talk to Your Daughter" are a couple of my favorites besides "Smooth Up" and "F#9".
