Still, if you disqualified the ornamental spires on both the Petronas Towers and Taipei 101 the Sears Tower would still be taller. There's some consolation that Chicago still retains the heighest occupied floors in the world.

I've caught the "skyscraper" show on the discovery channel a couple of times, man those things are amazing. Pics of this one going up would be cool. I'll be watching the Trump building too.

For some reason I figured you were talking about the Waterview Tower. I thought it was the tallest building under construction right now. I thought the Trump tower was being cut back to 70 something stories, but I see that it's going to be taller now. That's just cool.

Trump was cut back at one point to 73. But with Daley urging it, it will be 90 or so, but that's including the spire.

Ok, I did a little research. So now the Trump tower will be second only to the Sears tower? (and not by much) That's just badass.
