Who here has Netflix? How many DVDs you rent per month?

This dude used to get 22 a month (!) til the co. "throttled" him. I always wondered what would happen

Netflix customers are treated differently based on their renting patterns.

Eh, I either rent from Blockbuster (rarely) or just go to the library and check dvds out for free.

        Blockbuster online

Its cheaper, its faster, you get the 2 free in-store coupons per month, the collection is the same, and never had a problem after 6 months of service.

I used netflix for 2 months before I tried blockbuster and it sucked balls. The turnaround rate was pathetic.

I rent the 3 at one time deal

If we send a movie out by Monday, we get a brand new one by Wednesday.

I rent movies from the independent store on the corner. VHS are like a buck a night, and every 10th one is free. And they have a lot of old VHS horror Netflix and Blockbuster would never stock. Plus they have a big porn section. Not that I've ever had the courage to go in there, but it's nice to know it's there!!

And of course at the world's greatest video store Mondo Video in Silverlake!!!!

same here, I have the 2 at a time out for 14.99/mo and have not experienced any problems - quick turnaround so far. we'll see how it goes when I've been with them a year or so.

Same Here, I have the 8 at a time plan, have been using Netflix for almost 2 years, no problem, never lost a movie in the mail. If I send something out Monday get new movies Wednesday(example). I rent alot of movies, and the only time I might have noticed a slowdown is if I happen to send off stuff on Monday and the new "Big" movie comes out on Tuesday, then it might take till Thursday for me to get it. No big deal at all.
Come and get one in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles, you yunick jelly thou!

I REALLY like not having to go tromp through the rental store, try to find what I want with no list, stand in line waiting for the subhumans that man the registers. fuck that. w/ Netflix, the dvds just show up in the mail. that is worth the price right there.

and actually I have such a negative feeling toward Blockbuster from back when they were ripping people off right and left, that I would never give them another dime of my money regardless of how good their deal was.

I switched over to Blockbuster from Netflix a while back, they just have a bigger selection.

Since I work from home I can watch what they send and put them back in the mail the next day for return, but I have noticed a lot of times at least one of my returns stays in my out queue. sometimes it will stay there until I report it.

Companies are going to screw you anyway they can if they can get away with it.

I have hollywoods 14.99 thing cause I like to get out to see my public... Plus I live in MILF central and the liquor store, starbucks, and quiznos and hole in the wall bar are next to it.

Lately, I keep getting late fees on my three movies and my ass is kicked for $12.99 when I go in twice a month. I am headed to netflit territory. My buds are telling me mail it out today ,and get it the day after next.

Even sooner if you drop it at the PO.

I guess my cheezy MILF and starbucks fix will have to come from home

I should be but my account is so damn sporatic. I'll get like 9 dvd's in two weeks then I'll go two months without using it.
