I missed the trip but my friends went camping on acid and did not bring food just guns because they were going to live of the land. By night time they were super hungry and tripping balls and killed some bird they could not identify cooked it in the fire and in the morning went to the hospital for lead poisoning because they did not remove the shot.

I hunt just about all birds, and hunting quail is nothing like hunting hamsters, they fly much, much faster than your typical hamster.

I also used to hunt squirrels. Trust me, it is not easy...wild squirrels are not like park squirrels. They are hard to spot, move fast and are quite difficult to hunt with a .22. They taste good in Gumbo, too.
