  • Asking for help for the fallen

Hey guys. This is a message from Vinnie Moore at his forum in regard to the tragedy that has affected Winger/Dixie Dregs drummer Rod Morgenstein.

Please pass this message along to help aid in helping others with this tragic disease. Rod is a great guy and his wife will be dearly missed. Donations can be made at link below. Thanks guys, Drew

    "Hello all.

I am sure that most of you don't know that my friend Rod Morgenstein, (drummer for the Dregs), lost his wife Michele last month after a long battle with breast cancer. Rod and Michele were always two of the nicest people you could ever meet.

Drummer and Berklee grad Kevin Fortunato is participating in a 60-mile, 3-day breast cancer walk for the Susan Koman Foundation, to honor Michele's memory, and to help others with the disease. If you can, please make a donation at Kevin's breast cancer walk webpage. You can donate as little as $5 to this worthy cause and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes. Please feel free to list your name on the honor roll -- and don't forget to specify "In Honor (or in Memory of) Michele Morgenstein" when that option appears (it comes up toward the end of the donation process).

Click here for all the info and to donate for Kevin's great effort.

    Thanks so much guys!

God bless her and Rod. He's a good drummer. Saw him with Alice Cooper, Kip Winger on bass, and Kane Roberts on guitar on the Raise Your Fist And Yell tour.

That's very sad to hear. I had the pleasure of meeting Rod, Steve and Jerry on Steve's "The Introduction" tour, and they were all incredibly nice, regular guys.
