Re: Picture of your Gear (Guitars & pedals (effect

The amp and cab on the left (Jackson Apogee/Peavey Sheffield) are my recording setup, and I used to gig with the Peavey Classics. The only things missing are my current live rig (Peavey head/Jackson cab) and my Charvel basses.

-A 1997 or 98 ish KV3 with a Screamin Demon bridge pu, black Grover tuners with stock Jackson washers, and scalloped neck
-A ESP LTD H-207, all stock, with scalloped neck.
-A pre 1996 Peavey Predator, with metal knobs (one missing), the Duncan Designed bridge pu that came from the KV3 (replaced the bridge single coil), and scalloped neck.
-Yamaha classical. Forgot the model number. It feels and plays very nice.
-Amp-wise, I have a JCM900 head, a DSL 401 combo, a boss 7 band eq pedal (almost always "off), and a boss digital reverb/delay pedal.

A Premier Gen-X (maple + birch plies). I never play the hihat-side tom or the ice bell outside of the house. Noble & Cooley Alloy Classic snare. I'll rotate between various Paiste rides, Zildjian Oriental Chinas & A Custom crashes, and misc splashes/mini chinas, but the configuration rarely changes. Only thing this pic has differently than my set-up now is the floor tom crash being under the china - it's now on top.

Are there any other drummers on JCF?

Here is my rig. The cab is a Mesa 4x12 Std with V30s and C90s in an X-pattern. I don't have pics of it yet, I've only had it for a few weeks:

Here are my two main guitars for Division. The V isn't quite done yet (no cavity or trussrod covers yet), but it will be here sometime late next week:

            Here are some more guitars:

@ Inazone, didn't you also own a blue Jackson KV2?

Well, I do play drums, but I'm not really much of a drummer. Here's the set my ex-wife bought me for Christmas in the late '90s. It was a five-piece set that came with hi-hats and one cymbal and stand, I added two extra toms, a double bass pedal and extra cymbals.

Re: Picture of your Gear (Guitars & pedals (effect

My collection is nothing to boast about because I'm poor and decent gear costs a fortune in the UK so don't laugh

Limited edition Epiphone Slash Signature Les Paul, awesome quality guitar for the price, I plan to upgrade it with EMG's and gold hardware when I have the cash. This guitar is permanently detuned to B

DeArmond S67 7 string, its crap! thats all I have to say about it

My Jackson, its only a cheapo one but sounds killer since I put an EMG81 in the bridge

My amps and mixer, nothing special here

Korg Toneworks AX1G, one of the cheapest multiFX on the market, I only use it for a bit of delay and phaser etc

Line 6 Uber-Metal, the best distortion pedal I have ever used.
(yes I know I need to vacuum that carpet)

This peice of crap Encore bass belongs to my wife but I use it when I make my home recordings

                                Hey Noodles-

How's the neck on your Jackson Stars? They are building a semi-custom SL-J1 for me now (natural finish, 5-way switch instead of 3-way toggle), should arrive late April/early May.

My favorite neck profile is the neck on my 1988 Jackson Dinky. So that's the neck profile I am hoping for.

My 1988 Model 3 neck feels a little more chunkier to me, but I can live with that, too.

If you've played either of the two models above, can you give me a comparison?

                                Thanks in advance!
