Name that tune.......

Anyone know where this came from? This is one of my favorite passages from one of my favorite bands:

What can this strange device be?
When I touch it, it gives forth a sound
It's got wires that vibrate and give music
What can this thing be that I found?

See how it sings like a sad heart
And joyously screams out its pain
Sounds that build high like a mountain
Or notes that fall gently like rain.

I can't wait to share this new wonder
The people will all see its light

I'm actually impressed that a 20 year old is listening to something besides death metal. That cookie monster shit just annoys the hell outa me. (but I am getting older)

It annoys me too. I listen to a lot of stuff but death/black metal is one of my least favorite things almost as bad as rap/pop/hip-hop

I miss Amy Grant! She used to come watch me play softball back in the day! OK...she may have been there to see her husband but I always felt like she was watching me! As far as Rush...I slept through most of their concert that I went to in the 80's! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I just watched the MC Hammer Story on VH1, now that brought a tear to my eye.

I also listened to a Neil Young album where he used a casio keyboard and a drum machine (landing on water).... and I loved it!!!

Then I played 'The Girl from Iponema'

Today has been 'unusual' to say the least....

I think I'll put on some Rush, Motorhead, or Slayer to straighten things out, but I'll never forget this day.
