      Unless the weight of the car on the ground around the hole causes a cave-in since the walls of the hole are surely not fortified.

        I was six feet tall and weighed about 130 when I was seventeen, so it didn't take much of a hole [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

          I think the year range for that generation of civic was 92-95. I know that the motor can be swapped (v-tech, to non-vtech) and they match up to the same bolt pattern on the tranny (I've been "told").

          I'd find out the number of the tranny, see if it's common in all five years, and then you can look for one of that vintage. Hell, I probably wouldn't try and do it, but I was just assuming everyone was more mechanically inclined than me, since it's like, everyone knows about cars.

          You may be able to find someone who could do it for a reasonable price on the Honda tech forums. Also, if you could approach a mechanic at a Honda garage, they may be willing to do it "on the side".
