Thats great....Layne is by far one of my favorite singers, but I think the other guys themselves have enough momentum to carry the name. Plus William can hold it down vocally.Comment

The Allman Brothers did fairly well post Duane....

I think Cantrell knows and does the AIC formula very well..this singer must be damn good if Jerry picked him to front the band..
Layne was awesome and unique...but lets give Jerry the benefit of doubt here..it's not like he did this overnight..
He waited a long time for the time to feel right..maybe this is it!!
When I got the new Exodus CD..I immediately missed Souza's snarl...but I gave this guy a chance and he's damn good and fits just fine..the music isn't lacking at all..it took me a couple of listens and now I love it...he's not Souza but he's good in his own right!!
