Another media screw up: $365MM Powerball lottery

All the media outlets said that there was one winner of Friday's Powerball lottery in Nebraska for $365 million.

Well, as Fox News reporters gasped, they said that there was one person that bought the ticket (really?) and that it was shared between eight (8) people.

Well, I feel better now that 8 people had to split it instead of just one person. No one person should have THAT much money, lol

Now they each get only 15.5 million after taxes ('only'- yeah right.)

One of the local UPS drivers told this one:
A few years back a UPS driver in Florida stopped at McDonald's for lunch and checked the newspaper to see what the Powerball numbers were, and they matched his ticket. He immediately calls the shop and says "Your truck's at McDonald's, see ya".
