OK, Newc..I don't know who wounded you or inflicted enough pain on you that you would spout this renaissance man horseshit, but I feel bad for you. Sex, even without love, is still a unique experience which is the result of a physical and psychological union of two human beings. The "getting a nut" portion of sex is merely the cherry on top. I am only speaking for myself, since I obviously don't speak for all of the purported "men" on this board, but it is a wonderful experience, and one that we are hardwired to enjoy, crave, seek out and pursue. If sex sans love is merely a means for you to "get a nut", then perhaps you aren't entitled to the wonderful experience that sex, in reality, is....enjoy your monkish existence and cultivate your relationship with Rosey, since you obviously can't appreciate the visceral experience that can be only achieved with a member of the opposite sex.

well, I'm not a sex fiend and I don't really look at other women. Before I met her I didn't really care too much about dating and getting to girls. She just blew me away.

I usually stay focused on the one that I want to get to know. Its probably a bad thing but, but I really like this girl and it makes all other girls subpar.

Bro, I see it in your demeanor. And you so much need to NOT do it. You are highly likely to fall in worship of he first halfway decent chicky that shows you some love. MEGA F-ing mistake.

Don't dive in deep on a chick that you meet too early in your life. You are young, and you'll do a lot of changing in your mid or so 20's and you need to experience life a bit. There are a lot of different type of chicks out there, and you need to check some out and get a grip on things before you get all willy nilly on one.

I am not saying be a male slut, but don't jump deep on the first chicky that you feel a thang with and I know it's easy to fal deep and hard. Just take it easy. Life is too long to get stuck with one you might find to be inadequate or ill-fitted in a year or three of you maturing. Relax, be persisitant and logical, and you'll make a good decision.

Don't take it too seriously just yet at this point in your life. Yeah, you get lonely, but, you'll get to know yourself and what YOU want. I got tied early and it fucked my life up big. 15 years later I'm still damaged and prolly will never be right.

Chill, and get right with the right one at the right time. It will happen. Have faith and optimism.

Pardon my short attention span. I read page 1, scanned page 2, and that was it.

I've always been the quiet guy in the corner not really caring to get any action until I get home and known I could have done something. Last hangout I went to, I had a couple of drinks and left with a girl's phone number. I had a good buzz going on, a couple of beers and man did my confidence go up! I remember sobering up and thinking "how the fuck did I do that!?" Next weekend we went to the movies. It kinda stopped there, as it seems another friend was also going for her that night and at the moment seems to be having more luck.

Point being: Booze=confidence!!! Sometimes it's all we need!

some basic rules to avoid fucking up

1. never have a girlfriend/boyfriend until you're at least 25.
2. date around, meet lots of people. getting with the wrong person or getting tied down too early can fuck your life up.
3. spend as little money as possible.
4. always use a rubber regardless of what the woman says ("I'm using something" or "I'm allergic to latex" - these things may mean she wants to get pregnant - be careful and remember rule #4).
5. whatever the woman says, she means the opposite.
