Re: windows vista screen shots
Yep... this release is a full featured release.
Better than a beta, but not ready for RC status... basicaly a Pre-RC1.
Also, you're gonna need one kick-ass piece of hardware to run this to it's full potential.
Built-in video with shared memoery ain't gonna cut it anymore.
It will run, but no cool visual effects.-Rick

LMAO. Looks like stuff we Mac users have had for years. OOOHHHH so innovative.

Yep, looks like it to me too.
From what I've heard, the OS isn't gonna be available for purchase, you'll have to buy a whole new PC with vista already installed. Not sure how true this is, but I've heard this countless times. If this is true, it definitely will be a Mac clone indeed. Remember, how you had to buy a mac PC to get the Mac OS and all its compatible hardware to enjoy the features and use of the Mac.Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...
"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."
I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.

I actually read it's more ideal for business users than home PC's, but the home PC version will have some cool features too. It looks cool, and if the whole computer dosen't have to restart when it crashes, only windows, that's awsome.

From what I understand from talking to a friend of mine last night is that they have all the windows media center edition stuff build right into the operating system. For you Xbox360 users out there, this allows you to broadcast HD from your PC to your Plasma/LCD that you are operating your 360 on. Movies that you create or download don't need to be written to Divx DVD's or DVD's in general. Just cue them up.

The strange thing, I've never had an XP based system crash, on either of my computers.

I get worried when I don't see an error message on mine's. I don't know what it is, this is a week or two after I reformat my drive too and it still goes nuts

Re: windows vista screen shots
I've never had XP "crash" on me either. Sure, I've had my fair share of issues, but not one BSOD... ever.
But to add to that statement, I always keep it up to date and I'm a security nut and I don't surf for porn or randomly download and install shit either. But that's just me.-Rick
