Weight of guitars for shipping quotes

What weight do you guys state for shipping quotes? A friend of mine has an account with a parcels company, but for international shipping, they need weight measurements as well as size before they will give a quote.

I've only got access to an ancient, inaccurate set of scales, and I'd like to get a more accurate idea of what a Charvel strat type guitar + case + decent packaging will weigh....

Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

22-27 pounds is where 95% of the guitars I ship fall.
