• Holy Freakin' Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I work for a machine shop, well the owners Daughter is chef that owns a resturant down town. She does most ofe baked goods and stuff in a building right next to ours. When she's going back and between the resturant and the shop all day she'll usually leave her Van running in front of her building, She usually in and out in under a minute, well some times she'll have her 1yo baby with her when she's making the trips, So about 2 hours ago We're sitting in our monday morning meeting when she comes running in, Soimeone Stole the Van while she was inside with the Kid in it!! So as the office lady calls the cops, all of run to our cars and speed off in every direction, About an hour and a half later, her brother and the cops find the van and the fucking tweeked fucker who stole the van.

So everyone please don't leave any thing valuable in a running vehical

Glad to hear it turned out OK.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

I am glad the baby is ok,but she may be in serious trouble. That is happening rather often, and they are really cracking down on parents that do that.

Here,if your car is stolen while the keys are in the ignition, the fines are higher than recovering your vehicle from the impound..Had it happen to a guy I work with 2 weeks ago,and the cops told him to pay the fee because it was about 1/4 the fines...

She may be a wonderful person and all, but in this day and age, who the hell leaves a kid alone in a running car? Not very bright.

I am glad the van and the child are ok, but this could have turned out way worse than you can imagine.

+1 Glad everything turned out OK, but that was incredibly stupid and irresponsible. Don't be surprised if the local/state child protective services agency investigates her now.

She should be in deep shit. You don't turn your back for one second when your kid is concerned. That's all the time it takes for some piece of shit to take them.

I'm glad it turned out well, but still what a dumbass!

Sounds like the type of person who'll let her kids run wild then find someone else to blame if he or she gets into something she doesn't approve of.

It's not her fault. EVERYONE here would do the same thing she does every morning. She gets ot of the va, opens the door her assistent hands her the baked good and then they're put in the back of the van. We're talking less than 2 ft away and 30 swconds of time. The only thing that was stupid is leaving it running

I would be afraid to leave my car running with my kid in it while pumping gas... Let alone going into a place for a minute...

Even not running, I'd have to wonder about someone leaving their small child out of eyesight in a car...

Lotsa crazy people out there.

It's irresponsible for any parent to leave a child in a situation like that.
I'm sorry if the truth sounds harsh, but life is harsh and there are people out there who could give a rats ass about anyone else. 2 minutes or 2 seconds... doesn't matter, you never leave a child unattended in a vehicle, running or not.
