Many moons ago there was a monsters of rock tour that had,

Kingdom Come
Dokken
Scorpions
Metallica and Van Halen Headlining it.

I think there was a few more bands, just can't remember who.

[/ QUOTE ]

In the USA, the bands would be more along the line of Metal to Speed Metal in a Monters Of Rock tour. Jack.

Re: Monsters Of Rock

There were several different Monsters of Rock Tours in the stadiums during the very late 70s (I think), through the 80s.

I remember bands like the Cars, Trickster, Todd Rundgren, ELO, Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon, Aerosmith, Golden Earring, all doing stuff...

Your post was in present tense, it seemed you were referring to the bands mentioned in the first post

Besides, you were supposed to make an "old" joke

Re: Monsters Of Rock

you mean "Texxas Jam" at the Cotton Bowl...next thing I knew it was Monsters of Rock...

87 I think - Farrenheit, Poison, Tesla, Whitesnake, Areosmith, Boston

88 Kingdom Come, Dokken, Scorpions, Metalica, and Van Halen

All I know for sure is they were both great fun !

Now that you spurred that brain cell, you are correct... World series, yes, that was it.

Umm, I was extremely stoned around that time period. 714s, whippets, booze and puffy treat... Yeah, a hazy era...
