• The movie "Man on Fire"...

It's been out a year and a half or so, but I own the DVD and watched it again the other night. That is just a killer movie. Denzel and Dakota are awesome! Also, this movie involves a kidnapping, but has some good methods that could also be used on child molesters (to reference the other thread in here). One downside to the movie is the director's psychotic, hyperactive, headache-inducing directing style. But this only bothered me in the first parts of the movie. Then it seemed to tone down or I got so mesmerized in the story that I didn't notice. In close, I hate to admit it but that last part gets to me. I have a gnarly flu bug right now and have snot and water running pretty heavy, but I'm pretty sure there was additional flow at the end of the movie.

Note: for the home theater geeks out there, this is also a great movie in that regard. Great video and great sound! The picture is near flawless and I had the DTS mix on and it was rumbling my house in several places.

Yeah, that is a good movie!
I recently watched Tony Scott's subsequent movie "Domino". It's awful - that hyperactive directing style is REALLY annoying. Not even Mickey Rourke can save that one!
(Okay, rent it for the Keira Knightley topless scene... )

Has anyone seen the original?

Anyway I actually watched this as I got ready for work yesterday. Good movie. Over/Under on Dakota being a crack addict by 16?

Surprisingly, this movie was not about the case of gonorrhea I had last year. Still, I found it enjoyable.

That Dakota kid if fucking annoying. Having said that, the movie was pretty good, especially considering that I am not a fan of Denzel Washington.

If my memory serves me right, granted I definitely can be wrong. To make sure this is the same movie were talking about and not another. Is this the movie where Denzel has to give up his life in exchange for the girl to go free at the end? If not, sorry. If so, great movie.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

i really enjoyed the movie. about time the good guy in a movie does the right thing instead of the "just" thing. And when i say the right thing, I mean lots of pain before death.

Sounds like a gay porno title. or a sequel to Brokeback Mountain. Too bad Blazing Saddle is already taken.
